Distant Hills Brewing is an award‑winning independent brewery and taproom in Glossop, Derbyshire — situated on the edge of the scenic Peak District National Park. They invited Drumbeaters to reimagine their brand (formerly Howard Town Brewing) identity in a way that would uniquely reflect their; heritage, craftmanship and future ambitions to scale.

The project encompassed everything from initial naming strategy to the design of an immediately recognisable beer packaging system which brings each of their beers to life, as part of the Distant Hills family, on shelf and in hand.

The result is a characterful, approachable and authentic brand that captures both the spirit and location of Distant Hills. It blends traditional brewing values with a contemporary aesthetic and it’s unmistakably evocative of the hills and valleys they call home.
