With the launch of Meta and Zuck's talk of the metaverse, here's a sneak peek at what art galleries of the future look like, these days. To be clear, we feel, we really don't belong here. We certainly couldn't afford any of the crypto art on display and most of our time in the metaverse was spent banging into walls and staring at the roof.

Lorem ipsum is a designers faithful friend. It's a chunk of Latin text which can be traced back to 45 BC used as a placeholder block of copy wherever final copy is pending. In our experience this is usually right up until the final.final.final draft. Over the years though there's been a few interesting takes on lorem ipsum alternatives (see also One Click Wonder), but this is perhaps the most thought provoking and empowering for those working within agencies. And if you use all 5 paragraphs of Feminipsum there's a rewarding nugget at the end.
 

Bad design endangers the planet ➜

With COP26 in full swing in Glasgow we're all thinking a bit more around how we can and should be doing a bit more, especially in terms of the 3R's. This Design Week piece featuring Don Norman (UX design godfather) is a timely reminder of the role good design can play in that and suggests a swing towards repair and reuse, rather than recycling, is the way ahead for the benefit of the beautiful blue dot.
